Equal Housing Opportunity
Linton Global Solutions is committed to equal opportunity in every commercial real estate transaction, under federal Fair Housing law, Florida Fair Housing law, and Florida Chapter 475 brokerage rules.
Linton Global Solutions supports and complies with the Federal Fair Housing Act (Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968), the Florida Fair Housing Act, and the Fair Housing provisions of Florida Chapter 475. We do business in accordance with these laws and will not knowingly discriminate against any person or entity based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity), familial status, or disability, or on any other basis prohibited by applicable law.

Our commitment
Every buyer, seller, tenant, landlord, borrower, lender, and counterparty who works with Linton Global Solutions is treated on the basis of the merits of their transaction — not on the basis of any protected characteristic. This is both a legal obligation under federal and Florida law and a firm policy that predates any statutory requirement.
Protected classes
Linton Global Solutions recognizes and applies the following protected classes across all engagements:
- Federal (Fair Housing Act, 42 U.S.C. §§ 3601–3619): race, color, national origin, religion, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity per HUD 2021 guidance), familial status, and disability.
- Florida (Fair Housing Act, F.S. Chapter 760, Part II): same categories as federal, with state-level enforcement.
- Florida Chapter 475 (§ 475.25): incorporates Fair Housing prohibitions into the state real estate licensing and discipline framework; violations can result in loss of license.
Beyond the statutory list, Linton Global Solutions will not accept an engagement that would require the firm to discriminate against any person on the basis of a protected characteristic, and reserves the right to decline representation of any counterparty whose stated purposes are inconsistent with these principles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Fair Housing Act apply to commercial real estate?
The federal Fair Housing Act primarily governs residential real estate transactions and residential lending. Linton Global Solutions is a commercial real estate brokerage, but we adhere to Fair Housing principles in every transaction we handle — including mixed-use, multifamily, and any transaction touching residential components — and we apply anti-discrimination standards consistently across all commercial dealings as a matter of firm policy.
What protected classes does Linton Global Solutions recognize?
Federal Fair Housing Act protected classes: race, color, national origin, religion, sex (including sexual orientation and gender identity per HUD 2021 guidance), familial status, and disability. Florida Fair Housing Act adds the same categories. Beyond the statutory list, Linton Global Solutions applies non-discrimination principles broadly and will not accept an engagement that would require us to discriminate against any person on the basis of a protected characteristic.
How do I file a Fair Housing complaint?
Complaints about Fair Housing violations can be filed with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) at https://www.hud.gov/fairhousing or by phone at 1-800-669-9777. In Florida, complaints can also be filed with the Florida Commission on Human Relations. If your concern is about a specific Linton Global Solutions engagement, contact Michael R. Linton directly at mike@lintonglobal.com — we take such concerns seriously and investigate promptly.
Does Linton Global Solutions provide accommodations for people with disabilities?
Yes. Our website carries the UserWay accessibility widget to support screen readers, keyboard navigation, contrast adjustments, and other WCAG-aligned assistive features. For in-person or transaction-level accommodations, contact us in advance at mike@lintonglobal.com and we will work with you on the arrangement.
